The Borgo de’ Pazzi brand has designed and produced yarns in Montemurlo, near Florence, since 1979. With all that historic background the Borgo de’ Pazzi yarns continues the Italian dedication to luxury with a focus on the environment and nature. Many Italian companies in the region aim to keep production materials out of landfills. Borgo de’ Pazzi make yarns that are almost entirely made from natural fibers and may also include reclaimed synthetic. They minimize the environmental impact of yarn production by using mechanical, not chemical, processes to make yarns that feature carefully sorted post-consumer materials, shredded by machines, and spun into new yarns.
