Juniper Moon Farm

Susan Gibbs left a career in TV and started to farm in 2007 with a dream, a few sheep, and a small community-supported cooperative. Originally farming in New York, then Martha’s Vineyard, and eventually ending up as Juniper Moon Farm, a 139-acre farm near Charlottesville, Virginia. To support her work, she initially created a community supported agriculture program, where members purchased shares and received yarn or fiber in return. In Virginia, the farm flock was eventually allowed to retire, and Susan shifted her business to curating a commercial line of handknitting yarns that are sourced from Peru, Argentina, Nepal, and Italy.

Here at Goods & Heroes's Yarn Haus, we invite you to explore fibers and textures. We want you to express yourself through colors and silhouettes. We will encourage you to learn-and to play. Most importantly, we think you will be inspired by the folks you meet-come and be part of our ever growing and always caring community.
