Plied Yarn Co.

Plied is a uniquely marled yarn line hand-dyed in Baltimore by Karida Collins and Ann Weaver. The wool is spun at the historic Harrisville Designs Mill in New Hampshire then kettle-dyed in Baltimore by Ann and her team at the Neighborhood Fiber Co. Their first yarn was named “North Ave.” after the major arterial street in their city that’s being revitalized as an Arts and Entertainment district. The yarn names are a celebration of Baltimore as Karida and Ann name their plied yarn colors after local traditions, locations, and personalities.
